Signal Methodology
How Autonomous Anonymous generates, scores, and broadcasts crypto trading signals — with no manual discretion in the loop.
01 — Overview
What AA Does
Autonomous Anonymous is a systematic signal aggregation service. It monitors four independent data feeds in real time and fires a broadcast only when a minimum threshold of those feeds reach directional alignment simultaneously.
Core rule: A signal requires alignment across 4 or more independent data sources before it is scored and considered for broadcast. No single feed, no matter how strong its reading, can trigger a signal on its own. Confluence is the filter.
There is no analyst making a judgment call. The system reads structured data, scores alignment, and either broadcasts a signal or stays silent. If the feeds disagree, no signal is emitted.
02 — Data Sources
The Four Signal Feeds
Each feed is drawn from a distinct category of market intelligence. Category diversity is intentional — correlated data sources produce correlated noise.
Feed 01
On-Chain BTC Data
Source: Bitbo
Raw blockchain-level activity on the Bitcoin network. These metrics reflect what holders and miners are actually doing on-chain, independent of sentiment or market microstructure.
Feed 02
Social Sentiment
Source: Bittensor SN22 — Desearch
Decentralized AI-powered sentiment analysis sourced from the Bittensor network's Subnet 22. Signal is derived from aggregated content analysis, not a single centralized sentiment API.
Feed 03
Derivatives Intelligence
Source: Hyperliquid
Perpetual futures market data reflecting positioning and leverage in the derivatives market. These metrics indicate how leveraged participants are positioned and where pain points exist.
Feed 04
Prediction Markets
Source: Kalshi
Real-money probability markets where participants stake capital on directional outcomes. Kalshi data represents aggregated probabilistic consensus from actors with financial skin in the game.
03 — Scoring
Signal Strength
When the aggregation conditions are met, a signal is assigned a strength rating based on the degree of alignment across feeds. Strength is expressed as a 5-bar system representing 20% increments.
Only signals scoring 60% or above are broadcast. Weaker alignments are logged internally but not distributed.
04 — Signal Lifecycle
From Emission to Resolution
Every broadcast signal passes through a defined lifecycle. All stages are logged and visible in the track record.
Signal has been broadcast. Entry conditions are defined. Awaiting confirmation of market participation.
Position is live. Ongoing feed monitoring continues. Stop and target levels are in effect.
Signal has reached its defined target or stop. Outcome is logged and tracked in the public record.
Feed alignment broke down before resolution. Signal is cancelled and recorded as invalidated — not counted as a win.
Invalidated signals are not removed from the record. They are tracked separately and reflected in overall performance metrics.
05 — Constraints
What We Don't Do
- ✕ No vague directional calls. Every signal includes a defined direction, a strength score, and a stated basis. "BTC looks bullish" is not a signal.
- ✕ No manual discretion. No analyst overrides the system. If the feeds don't align, nothing is broadcast — regardless of how a market "feels."
- ✕ No cherry-picked history. All signals — including losses and invalidations — are included in the track record. Nothing is removed after the fact.
- ✕ No guaranteed alpha. Signal alignment does not predict outcomes. Markets are probabilistic. Historical performance is documented but does not imply future results.
- ✕ No position sizing guidance. AA broadcasts signals, not trade plans. How you manage risk, size positions, or set stops is entirely your decision.
